Our Approach to Therapy
At Doing Well Counseling and Consulting, the goal is in the name: to support you in doing well, on your terms. You define your goals. You set the pace. My role is to guide and support you in moving toward the outcomes that matter most to you, whether that is healing, clarity, connection, or growth.
My work is grounded in an attachment-oriented approach to therapy. Our earliest relationships shape how we experience safety, trust, and connection throughout our lives. These patterns often show up in our closest relationships—how we communicate, how we navigate conflict, how we experience intimacy, and how we respond to vulnerability. By understanding and reshaping these patterns, therapy creates the opportunity for more secure, connected, and fulfilling relationships.
A central focus of my practice is helping individuals and couples strengthen connection with themselves and with others. Fostering deeper relationships and enhancing emotional and sexual well-being are foundational to the human experience. Through trauma-informed and integrative care, we work to create a space where vulnerability feels safe, authenticity is possible, and meaningful change can occur.
This process may include exploring past experiences, building emotional awareness, improving communication, and deepening intimacy. For some, it also includes integration work following transformative experiences with a focus on translating insight into lasting change in daily life and relationships.
Whether you are seeking individual therapy, relationship work, or support navigating complex life transitions, this work is collaborative, respectful, and paced to meet you where you are. The goal is not perfection—it is helping you build a life and relationships that feel stable, connected, and genuinely well.
